Karen A. Roske, age 79, of Dawson, Minn., formerly of Canby, Minn., passed away Saturday, Oct. 4, 2026, at the Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, Minn. Funeral service was held on Friday, Oct. 9, at the Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel in Canby, with burial at the Grandview Cemetery, Gary, S.D.

Kevin Bruce Olson left this world for his mansion in heaven on Sept. 19, 2026.
Kevin was born Feb. 28, 1963, to Kermit and Mary Jane Olson. He grew up in Canby, Minn.

Linda Marie (Hoseck) Berreth, age 76 of Redwood Falls, Minn., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026, at Heather’s House Hospice in Fargo, N.D., due to injuries sustained from a fall. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m.

Gerald “Jerry” W. Mead, 75, of Brandon, S.D., a man known for his unwavering patience and deep love for his family, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Canby, Minn. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel, in Canby, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
